We are excited to announce that 4K registration for the 2021-2022 school year in the School District of South
Milwaukee is now open!  Any student that will be four years old on or before September 1, 2021 is eligible to register
for 4K.  If a child in your home will turn four by that date, we encourage you to register now.  If you know a family
that has a child that could attend 4K next school year, please forward this letter to them.
4K in South Milwaukee is a district-wide program.  That means a 4K student may go to any of our four elementary
schools, regardless of your neighborhood or address.  All student return to neighborhood schools for 5K-5th grade
based on your address. For the 2021-22 school year, South Milwaukee has expanded its options for 4K.
The school District of South Milwaukee offers several options for 4K:
  • All-day 4K - This is 8:30-3:35 Monday through Thursday and will be offered at all four Elementary Schools. Full day 4K is currently full at all schools. Interested families can still get their names added to a waitlist.
  • Half-day 4K - This is offered only at Blakewood  Elementary Schools. AM 4K is from 8:30-11:40 and PM 4K is from 12:25-3:25 Monday through Thursday.
If you have an older child (5K-5th grade), your 4K child may be assigned a different school based on your 4K preference. We recognize that this is inconvenient, and our schools will work with you on drop-off and pick-up times.

Questions about 4K registration may be sent to Chris Sepersky, principal of Lakeview Elementary, at
Thank you!
